Garden Bird Watching

The Nuthatch, although a common bird, is perhaps not a frequent visitor to most gardens, but it will take to the garden feeder and usually feed in a head down position. Nuthatches may also sometimes use a tool when searching for insects and some of the images here show one doing that with a small piece of wood which it is attempting to lift the tree bark with.
